The four Mansfield libraries The Library aims to provide the books undergraduates need for their tutorial work, complementing the diverse range of resources available elsewhere in Oxford. The College’s Main Library is a wonderful wood-panelled room which contains core texts for most courses, while there are separate libraries devoted to Law, PPE and Theology.
Our timeline. In 1838 Mansfield was founded as a theology college, Spring Hill College, in Birmingham. In 1887 we moved to our current home in Oxford. From 1913 we accepted women for ordination. In 1955 we joined Oxford University as a Permanent Private Hall. From 1979 we welcomed mixed cohorts.

Mansfield College, Oxford est l'un des collèges constitutifs de l'Université d'Oxford à Oxford, en Angleterre.Le collège est fondé à Birmingham en 1838 en tant que collège pour étudiants non conformistes.Il déménage à Oxford en 1886 et est rebaptisé Mansfield College d'après George Mansfield et sa sœur Elizabeth.
