  5. Roman Signer est né en 1938 dans le canton suisse d’Appenzell. Il suit des études d’art à Lucerne, Zurich et Varsovie. En 1987, il réalise une performance dans le cadre de la Documenta 8 de Kassel, lors de laquelle il jette des milliers de feuilles de papier dans l’air, créant ainsi un mur de papier aussi éphémère que spectaculaire.
