Flight has a lot going for it but peaks too early.- a very racy opening sequence then a thrilling section in a cockpit. Then there is some meandering from then on. The soundtrack is very off putting throughout, too. Denzel Washing is his normal cool self and he doesn't allow the total loss of cool needed to portray an alcoholic.
