Students typically take three courses per quarter for a total of nine per academic year.

SoC students have the option of pursuing one or more modules in the School of Communication. Some modules may be open to non-SoC students as well. A curricular initiative unique to SoC, modules are highly focused programs of study that include related coursework, co-curriculars and pre-professional experiences, and culminate in the creation of a capstone project.
