JHARIS YOKLEY Drummer, producer and songwriter Jharis Yokley is an explosive force of nature whose work spans the hip-hop, jazz, R&B and rock scenes. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Yokley graduated from the prestigious Berklee College, studying under jazz greats Terri Lynne Carrington and Danilo Pérez.
In addition to the new single, Jharis Yokley also announced his debut album Sometimes, Late At Night, which is due out May 3rd.Yokley-who has worked with everyone from Solange and Chance the Rapper to Ani DiFranco and DJ Premier-calls upon his jazz-informed chops and hip-hop sensibilities to craft this colorful and adventurous album.
