Equestrian Program. Our 240 rolling acres in Southwest Virginia are the picturesque setting for our renowned Equestrian Program. Oak Hill is the destination for both trail and competitive riding, with a state-of-the-art equestrian center, 60 acres of open pasture, miles of paths, and a stable of horses. Our Equestrian Program is open to all.
At Oak Hill Academy, we’re invested in helping students discover new levels of success – not just academically, but holistically. Breaks & Travel. Typically, the academy is closed for three major breaks during the academic year: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break 2021-2022 School Calendar. All students are required to depart campus during these breaks. The academy offers transportation to and from the Charlotte, NC, airport (CLT) for a fee.
