Murray Edwards College continues to proudly be a college for women, while including and warmly welcoming men as Fellows, staff and visitors.

  4. The IT Service Desk is located in the IT Resource Centre (ITRC) at the basement entrance of the library. Appointments are generally available from 09:00-17:00, Monday to Friday (closed for lunch between 12:30 and 13:30). Please open a new ticket to make an appointment, as we may be out on user support elsewhere in the College.

  5. At Murray Edwards we aim to admit around 10 students a year. You will thus be part of a large community of approximately 30 undergraduates within the College. English at Murray Edwards benefits from a tradition of success, a superb library, and a supportive ethos where we try to help each student find their own individual way through the course.

  6. Undergraduate accommodation. There is a variety of accommodation available at Murray Edwards College, some en suite, on the main College site and in houses nearby. All bedrooms contain a single bed, bedside table, desk, desk chair, easy chair, bookshelves and a fitted wardrobe. Kitchens are fully equipped with ovens, hobs, microwaves and fridges.

  7. The Gateway Programme is an academic and career-focused development programme for our students and is unique to Murray Edwards College. The Programme’s vision centres on ensuring young women from all backgrounds are able to make the most of the opportunities available to them at the University of Cambridge through skills workshops, internships, early career planning, and funding.
