Petr Čech (born 20 May 1982) is a retired Czech football player who is the technical and performance advisor as well as an emergency backup goalkeeper for Chelsea. He is thought by some players, journalists and managers as the greatest goalkeeper in the history of the Premier League [nb 1] and, by many, as the greatest goalkeeper to have played for Chelsea.

Petr Čech (Plzeň, 20. svibnja 1982.) bivši je češki nogometni vratar. Branio je za Arsenal F.C. Prije Arsenala je nastupao jedanaest godina za Chelsea F.C. Uz Chelsea nastupao je za češke klubove Viktoriju iz Plzena, Blšany i prašku Spartu, te za francuski Stade Rennais.U tri sezone (04./05., 06./07. i 07./08.) za redom Čech je proglašavan najboljim vratarom Lige prvaka.
