Quadrophenia ist ein Musikalbum der britischen Rockgruppe The Who.Es erschien als Doppel-LP im Oktober 1973 und war nach Tommy die zweite Rockoper der Gruppe.Die Lieder wurden von Pete Townshend komponiert. Dieser setzte in manchen Stücken (Love Reign o’er Me, Cut My Hair, Quadrophenia) wie auf dem vorherigen Album Synthesizer ein.Vor allem verwendete er das damals neue Streicherkeyboard.
Quadrophenia se lanzó en Inglaterra el 19 de octubre de 1973 y alcanzó el segundo puesto de ventas detrás de Pin Ups, de David Bowie. Para Townshend, fue el último disco relevante de The Who.
