The Matrix Trilogy reinforces the cinema truth: the better the original, the worse the sequels. The Matrix is one of greatest and most important films of our time and the sequels are kind of doo-doo (nice graphics though). Still 5 stars.
The Matrix Revolutions (2003) The human city of Zion defends itself against the massive invasion of the machines as Neo fights to end the war at another front while also opposing the rogue Agent Smith. Genre: Action, Adventure, Science Fiction, Thriller.
A lot of this film is set in the "real world", so it's a bit of an antithesis to part 2, with emphasis on the battle in Zion. Some of the exposition seems to grate a little this time, especially with Neo in the station & Morpheus & Trinity meeting the Oracle, but the final chapter's definitely a fitting conclusion.
