Kofi Atta Annan (Kumasi, 8 april 1938 – Bern, 18 augustus 2018) was een diplomaat afkomstig uit Ghana. Hij was van 1997 tot en met 2006 de zevende secretaris-generaal van de Verenigde Naties. Hij gold als een succesvol hervormer, stimulator en bruggenbouwer.
