Lol playing Sona as a new enchanter is just asking to int your games. You have probably among the worst tools to aid positioning and only your passive to slow people with unless you've got ult up. Not saying the champ is bad since I OTP her but you absolutely need proper positioning. Karma or Nami as you've mentioned is much safer.
Those that are obvious are above surface to represent that they are easily seen as everyone as enchanters. However, not all of them seem to be accepted by everyone as enchanters like Taric or Zilean whenever someone says that they are male enchanters, so maybe they are not as obvious for everyone
