The Hungerford Bridge, officially known as the Hungerford Footbridges, is a historic railway bridge that was originally built in 1864. It was designed by Sir John Hawkshaw and served as a railway bridge connecting Charing Cross station on the north side of the river with Waterloo station on the south side.
