I'm watching WB's short lived 2004 series "Jack & Bobby" and this show's premise was pretty high concept for it's time. It's like The West Wing meets This Is Us. The show focuses on the teenage years of two brothers in present day (2004), one of whom will go on to be president of the united states in the 2040's.

Two brothers grow up under the gaze of their brilliant, breakable, over-controlling, liberal-professor mom, and one of them becomes president. Weird concept, unlikely to work.
