  1. ABOUT GALILEO. The Galileo Academy is located in the historic north end of San Francisco and was originally built in 1921. As of May 2015, Galileo has over 150 faculty and staff members and serves over 1,800 students. However, It is one of two schools in the Bay Area with an observatory. Galileo’s observatory is not in use at this time.

  3. Galileo’s prom of 2024. Galileo's 2024 Prom went off without a hitch on Saturday, April 27th. The event was held at The Regency Ballroom, and students were provided with 3 different flavors of crepes and a variety of beverages, including Shirley Temples.
