Gyula Grosics was a goalkeeper who played 86 times for the Hungarian national team and played on the legendary team which remained undefeated from 1950-54. At the 1952 Helsinki Olympics Grosics led Hungary to the gold medal, and in 1953 he helped defeat England at Wembley, 6-3, the English national team’s first loss on home soil.

Durante la década de 1950, Hidegkuti fue miembro destacado de la legendaria selección húngara conocida como el Equipo de oro, en el que coincidió con jugadores como Gyula Grosics, Ferenc Puskás, Zoltán Czibor, Sándor Kocsis y József Bozsik. Su primera gran victoria fue la medalla de oro conseguida en los Juegos Olímpicos de Helsinki 1952.

Gyula Grosics (4 February 1926 – 13 June 2014) was a Hungarian football goalkeeper. He played 86 times for the Hungarian national football team and was part of the legendary Golden Team of the 1950s. He was nicknamed the Black Panther (Hungarian: Fekete Párduc). Grosics died on 13 June 2014, aged 88.
