Welcome to our. webpage. At Dovedale w e are committed to promoting a love of reading and books, and we continually look for ways to improve standards in reading, phonics and writing. We are very excited to introduce our new phonics scheme, Read Write Inc. Read Write Inc. is a highly successful programme dedicated to ensuring that every child is able to read by the end of Key Stage 1.
Below are the dates for the academic year 2024-2025. We are unable to authorise holidays during term time, any parents taking holidays will be subject to a fixed penalty notice. Autumn Term 2024. Term – Tuesday 3rd September – Thursday 19th December. Half Term - Monday 28th October – Friday 1st November.
