Automatic’s New Sensations doesn’t even sound like a Lou Reed song, and provides an unsettling interlude, of not a necessarily particularly interesting kind. It feels like it has a Blondie/CBGB’s ’70s disco vibe, and I don’t know if I love it or hate it but I’m wavering to the latter.
