Pretty Little Head is the sophomore album by Nellie McKay. Two years earlier, McKay had released her debut album, Get Away From Me , which was met with highly positive reviews.
1/4/2013 - McKay's insistence on the double album is commendable. I can bore easily, and I was really tempted to go to 3 stars a lot - but the pace shifts enough and there are enough nice melodies and ear-catching lyrics to recommend Pretty Little Head as being at least mostly awesome. I'll definitely return to her debut more frequently, however.
30 de ene. de 2007 · Pretty Little Head just didn't do it for me. I think Nellie's a rare talent and I loved her first album, but PLH is lacking. I think the production could have been a lot better and I that her piano playing is too much of a focus. Also, some of the songs are amateury and annoying and should have been cut.
