Kenneth Edison Danby Kenneth Edison Danby, painter (b at Sault Ste Marie, Ont 6 Mar 1940; d at Algonquin Park, Ont 23 Sept 2007). Ken Danby was a student at Toronto's Ontario College of Art (1958-60) and studied with J.W.G. MACDONALD. He began as an abstract painter, though a visit to an exhibition of Andrew Wyeth's work at Buffalo, New York, in 1962 confirmed his disenchantment with abstraction.
