The school was expanded in 1891 with the addition of Pacific College, which enrolled nine students the first year.
Prior to arriving at George Fox in 2008, he taught at Azusa Pacific University and Chapman University. He teaches courses such as Public Speaking, Persuasion, Interpersonal Communication, Rhetorical Criticism, Small Group Communication, and Spiritual and Ethical Dimensions of Communication.
