EPIC is a theatre ensemble composed of women in Division Five of the country’s largest jail, Cook County. Each spring, summer, and fall, Piven Teaching Artists enter the jail for 8-12 weeks at a time to work and play with incarcerated women. They bring hope and joy to an often dismal and hopeless experience.
Each of our adult theatre classes is designed to be taken multiple times. I was a little intimidated/nervous going into it since I had never done it before, but within 5 minutes my inhibitions were completely gone and I let myself go with the flow. It's so much fun.
3rd-6th Graders. Weekly Camps are $395.00 per week*. Choose from 10 weeks of programming: June 3 – August 9. 9am – 4pm. (No camps on June 19 and July 4) *The first week is $395.00, with each additional week at 20% off the weekly price. Please contact our office to register so we can apply the discounts.
