2 de sept. de 2022 · Perskaya herself was a former gymnast. Omelianchik was best known for her expressive floor exercise routines, featuring wonderful dance and intricate tumbling. In 1988, she was passed over for a spot on the Olympic team, becoming the alternate. Today Oksana is married, has 2 children (daughter Anastasia and son Ivan), and lives in Kiev.

21 de may. de 2023 · Koji Gushiken of Japan, Oksana Omelianchik of Ukraine and Mitch Gaylord of the U.S. were officially inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame (IGHOF) in a black-tie gala held in Oklahoma City on Saturday evening.. During the formal dinner, the IGHOF class of 2023 delivered heartfelt speeches filled with immense gratitude for the honors and recognitions they received.
