Not one viewer in 100 will ask the questions I've just asked, because in movies like this we go along with the flow. And this whole movie is flow. "After the Sunset" is skillfully made, but it's not necessary.
Synopsis. After the Sunset begins with master thieves Max Burdett (Pierce Brosnan) and his beautiful accomplice, Lola Cirillo (Salma Hayek), retiring to Paradise Island in the Bahamas after one last big score, having lifted the second of the three famous Napoleon diamonds. Their financial future is set, their career in crime a thing of the past.
After successfully completing his last score, a master thief (Pierce Brosnan) retires to an island paradise. Bored with his new life, the burglar invites his lifelong nemesis, a crafty FBI agent (Woody Harrelson), to hunt him down. When the lawman washes ashore, he and the thief begin another round of their ongoing cat-and-mouse game.

After the Sunset. Two master thieves, Max and Lola, have escaped to Bahamas to enjoy their hard-earned riches. But the BFI agent trailing Max refuses to believe that his nemesis is calling it quits. He suspects them of plotting to steal a diamond, coincidentally scheduled to arrive on the island as part of an exhibition.
