Bounou, or “Bono” as his name reads on the back of his jersey, has become one of the most integral pieces of Morocco’s historic run in this year’s 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. But the 31-year-old player hasn’t always been the most used player on the pitch.
Yassine Bounou (arabisk: ياسين بون; født 5. april 1991), også kendt som Bono, er en canadisk-marokkansk professionel fodboldspiller, som spiller for Saudi Professional League-klubben Al-Hilal og Marokkos landshold. Under sommer-OL 2012 i London deltog han for sit land, hvor hans hold blev elimineret i gruppespillet.
