He was especially noted for such films as Harold and Maude (1971), Shampoo (1975), and Being There (1979).

Hal Ashby I only really knew Harold and Maude but the last couple of nights I've watched Shampoo and The Last Detail and I'm just so charmed by his style. Wondering if anyone else here likes him and has any faves by him that I should watch next!
