Hace 4 días · Richard Lee Petty (born July 2, 1937), nicknamed "the King", is an American former stock car racing driver who competed from 1958 to 1992 in the former NASCAR Grand National and Winston Cup Series (now called the NASCAR Cup Series), most notably driving the No. 43 Plymouth/Pontiac for Petty Enterprises.
27 de abr. de 2024 · Richard Petty began racing in NASCAR’s Cup Series (then called the Grand National Series) in 1958, and in 1959 he accumulated nine top-10 finishes and was named Rookie of the Year. In February 1960 he earned his first Cup victory, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
