The Charlotte 49ers men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As of the upcoming 2022 season, the team is a member of the NCAA Division I American Athletic Conference (The American). The team plays their home games at Transamerica Field in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Charlotte, the No. 2 seed, will play top seed Southern Methodist on No. 12. The Charlotte 49ers are a win away from their first American Athletic Conference soccer title.

The 49ers beat No. 2-ranked SMU 2-1 Sunday to win the American Athletic Conference tournament, the program’s third postseason crown in school history and first since winning the Conference USA title in 2013.
