He was born in Florence to Matteo Strozzi (son of Simone Strozzi and Andreina Rondinelli) and Alessandra Macinghi (daughter of Filippo Macinghi).

A continual free shuttle service links the car park to the Fortezza da Basso. To access the car park you have to show your Pitti Immagine entrance ticket.
