I talked to Akiko about her upcoming shows, her latest album, as well as some highlights from her vast career. I'm pretty sure the picture is from early 1978, as Haruomi still has his poofy hair. Yeah definitely pre-YMO.
I just did an interview with Akiko Yano last week. We talked briefly about her time in Yellow Magic Orchestra and her creative relationship with Ryuichi Sakamoto.
