I caught this lineup on tour. Previous to, I had no idea who Hellborg was. I‘ve seen McLaughlin about a dozen times so I didn’t mind he played almost exclusively on the guitar synth. When Hellborg did his solo he did three things simultaneously, bass (obviously), rhythm (chords) and lead.
