The BC Core Curriculum requires students to take 15 courses across ten broad categories, including typical writing, arts, and STEM requirements as well as philosophy, theology, and cultural diversity.
You can take the classes you want without being locked into core. Just take the core classes you want, doing a whole path is kinda pointless. Core doesn’t have a fantastic reputation on campus because it is a nothing burger and only exists as a selling point for prospective students.
