Hace 3 días · Alan Stanley Jones, MBE (born 2 November 1946) is an Australian former Formula One driver. He was the first driver to win a Formula One World Championship with the Williams team, becoming the 1980 World Drivers' Champion and the second Australian to do so following triple World Champion Sir Jack Brabham .

17 de may. de 2024 · Antes de mais nada, Alan Jones é um ex-piloto de automóveis australiano que atuou na Fórmula 1 por diversas equipes, porém foi na Williams que atingiu seu apogeu. Sua estreia aconteceu no ano de 1975, no GP da Espanha, pela Hesketh. Na ocasião, ele não completou a corrida devido a um acidente.
