24 de may. de 2024 · Aaron Copland's celebrated film score to The Red Pony was first heard in movie theaters 75 years ago, marking a significant moment in cinematic history. The film had been completed two years earlier, in 1947. While waiting for the movie to be released, Copland created The Red Pony Suite to fulfill a commission from conductor Efram Kurtz, who premiered it in October 1948 with the Houston Symphony.
