What I liked about the remake is that the cenobites actually appear in the flesh in our world. In some of the later sequels, they are just demons in the afterlife waiting to punish the souls of those sent to hell in slasher-movie style. The remake wasn’t for me but I’m always open to new Hellraiser movies.
