Roger married his own daughter Catherine to the heir, Thomas Beauchamp, who was given seisin of his lands in 1329 although still under age.

In a codicil to her will dated 1670 Lady Katherine Leveson gave an annual rent charge of £40 on lands in Foxley (Northants.), for repairs to the Beauchamp Chapel in St. Mary's Church, the surplus being given to the brethren of Lord Leicester's Hospital.

She was the daughter and eldest child of William II, earl Warenne by the Capetian princess Isabel of Vermandois (died c. 1140) daughter of Count Hugh the Great of Vermandois and niece of King Philip I of France.
