For reasons I won't get into, my current email is soon to stop functioning, and so I am trying to swap it out with a different email. I know this second email is valid, because I used it previously for an alt account (I've since swapped that out for a temp email, I know it wont last but I dont use that alt anymore so idc), but for some reason discord says the email is invalid.
