With their distinctive and sometimes extraordinary harmonic blend, the band registered an impressive 21 Billboard Top 40 hits (with three hitting number one) between 1969 and 1975.

It's a masterful record that shows the factors that made the group successful -- the counterpoint vocals of Wells, Negron, and Hutton surrounded by a very heavy hard rock backing.
