23 de jun. de 2024 · Naser-al-Din Shah was assassinated by Mirza Reza Kermani, a follower of Jamal-al-Din Asa’d Abadi who lived in Egypt and later in Istanbul and had mounted political activities against the Qajars. Asa’d Abadi ordered Kermani to assassinate Kamran Mirza, the chief of the army.

Mozaffar al-Din Shah was a moderate, but relatively ineffective ruler. The gun used was old and worn, and had the shah been wearing a thicker coat, or had he been further away, he may have survived.
