Everyone who was in the band when it started lived in Chicago. When I joined the band in 2019, Zach and I would carpool the distants from Michigan to Chicago for practice.

Hace 3 días · Answer: Otis Williams and The Distants In 1960, after fusing the members of two groups, The Primes and Otis Williams and the Distants, they became the Elgins. The following year, before signing with one of Barry Gordy's recording labels, they became the Temptations.

13 de may. de 2024 · The Temptations was a product of the merging of two vocal groups; the Distants and the Primes. The Distants was a vocal group from Detroit from the start. The Primes was a vocal group in Alabama that later shifted to Detroit.
