His ‘Prairie style’ became the basis of 20th-century residential design in the United States. Some of his best-known works included Unity Temple, Fallingwater, and the Guggenheim Museum.

No murió hasta 1959, a los 91 años, y su legado no deja de ser reconocido. Entre los más de 1.000 proyectos de Wright, Fallingwater figura entre sus diez obras más destacadas.
