Best “Best Director” 1980s. Honestly a coin toss between Forman and Bertolucci for me. I think they're both masterpieces, and The Last Emperor feels, for the most part, unjustly forgotten. May I please add Robert Redford for “Ordinary People”. Often overlooked GREAT movie.
