Craig Zahler and it was... quite a ride. The story itself is simple, and the movie is just going to point A to point B, with some eventual trouble in the middle.

I had never even heard of it until maybe a year ago, watched it and was absolutely enthralled. Went back today for a rewatch and I’m realizing how much I like the movie compared to 99% of Horror that has come out in the passed 10-15 years.

  3. 4 de ago. de 2020 · I just watched Bone Tomahawk for the first time today and agree with you completely. This is clearly a made up tribe that doesn’t exist for starters. Not once are you meant to think that this was accurate to any native tribe, let alone all of them.

Period horror has long been my favourite genre, and Bone Tomahawk is just so far above and beyond so many other great period horror movies. Incredibly well made, looks amazing, well acted, truly spooky, doesn't rush, and stays serious and grounded despite the premise.

His anger and then utter horror as he watches the savagery fold out, left speechless from what he is seeing.
