Born in Moscow in 1940, Alexander Anufriev endured many years as an underground "unofficial" artist in the Soviet Union due to the spiritual nature of his paintings and his view of life. Since coming to the United States in 1980, his motivation as an artist has not changed.
Alexander Anufriev is a photographer born in 1988 in Ukhta, Komi Republic. He graduated from the Rodchenko Art School in 2017. Winner of Sony World Photography (2017), Silver Camera (2015), finalist of the LensCulture Exposure Awards competition (2017) and the PDN Photo Annual Awards (2017).
