Frank Demond. Born April 3, 1933, Los Angeles, California. Played with: Percy Humphrey, Willie Humphrey, Narvin Kimball, Kid Thomas, George Lewis, Johnny St. Cyr. The only member of the Preservation Hall band who was not born and raised in New Orleans, Demond developed his love for New Orleans Jazz from far away in the American west.
The lineup included Frank Demond (trombone), James Prevost (bass), James "Sing" Miller (piano), Cie Frazier (drums), Jim Robinson (trombone), Narvin Kimball (banjo), and Allan Jaffe (tuba). During the late 1960s and early 1970s, many of the touring members were hired by Harold Dejan for his Olympia Brass Band.
