Daniel Michael Donovan Jr. (born November 6, 1956) is an American attorney, former prosecutor and politician. A member of the Republican Party , he served as the U.S. representative for New York's 11th congressional district from 2015 to 2019.
Dan Donovan is a composer, keyboard player, remixer and at various times, a photographer. He began his musical journey growing up in Notting Hill, west London. He learned classical, jazz, blues and ragtime piano from the age of six. He became the lead trombonist in three orchestras and a jazz band at school.
