14 de ago. de 2019 · ROCK HILL, SC— Winthrop women's head golf coach Jodi Wendt has announced her retirement, effective Aug. 15. A national search for a new head women's golf coach is underway. Wendt, an LPGA Teach Professional and former player, spent the last 15 years as head coach of the program and 17 seasons total.
Jodi Wendt, an LPGA Teaching Professional and a former player on the Players West Professional Tour, was promoted to head coach in the spring of 2006 after longtime head coach Eddie Weldon retired. Wendt first joined the program as an assistant coach in 2003 before taking over for Weldon.
12 de jul. de 2006 · ROCK HILL, SC— Jodi Wendt, who has served as the assistant golf coach for the past two years, has been named head coach of the women’s team, and former Winthrop golf standout Kevin Pendley has been hired as the new men’s golf coach replacing veteran Eddie Weldon who retired July 1 after 19 years.
