Thomas Bell was a professor of zoology at King's College, London, who published books and papers on amphibians, reptiles and crustaceans. He also acquired specimens from Charles Darwin's voyage on The Beagle, which are now at Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

Thomas Bell (1792-1880) was an English zoologist, dental surgeon and writer, who described the reptile and crustacean specimens from the Beagle expedition. He was also a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, the Ray Society and the Linnean Society, and a president of the Linnean Society.
