The Glass Passenger is the second studio album by American rock band Jack's Mannequin. Frontman Andrew McMahon was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in mid-2005 following the recording of their debut album Everything in Transit.
Jack's Mannequin was an American rock band formed in 2004, hailing from Orange County, California. The band originally began as a solo project for Andrew McMahon, the frontman of Something Corporate . The band was signed to Maverick Records and released Everything in Transit in August 2005, peaking at 37 on the Billboard 200. [2] .

In August of 2008, The Ghost Overground EP was released exclusively on iTunes to promote the album, containing the songs “The Resolution”, “Bloodshot”, and two live performances of tracks from Everything in Transit. After the release of the EP, “The Resolution” topped the Billboard “Hot Singles Sales” charts.
