The Poison Boyfriend is his best album, no doubt. It's chock full of sardonic reversals, music-hall poison, and tunes. Plus the best arrangements and production of his career. "What Will Death Be Like?" is the closest to true philosophy Momus will ever get, while "Murderers, the Hope of Women" is a scathing portrayal of casual misogyny.
